Come and take a Cuttlebug Class with us!

Come and take a Cuttlebug Class with us!

Once again I have to thank my wonderful teacher Spike for putting on another fabulous “Getting to know you Cuttlebug” class.  This is just the most amazing little die cutting tool.   If I ever have time to scrapbook/card make again I really will also have to sit down and take this class.  Truly, in the 12 years I have been in this industry I have never seen anything quite like this.  The products continue to amaze and excite me.

I also have to thank Spike for putting this “Blog” together for us at Classic.  What fun to share with all you crazy scrapbookers and card makers our latest classes, projects & events.   As well as all the latest products as they arrive at Classic.

If you haven’t heard yet do not forget about our fabulous Inventory Sale this Saturday May2nd beginning at 9am.  Pop a Classic Balloon for a discount on your purchase.  We also will be having Free Make and Takes from 10-3pm.

Looking forward to seeing you soon,

Just a “Classic” Saturday

April 26, 2009

It’s Spike (I’m one of the class instructors) here recounting Saturday’s events!  It was a busy and fun day at Classic!  In the morning was Pauline’s Judikins Patera class where everyone got to play with new techniques that Pauline learned at the CHA 2009 convention.  There was a lot of movin’ around, playing with heat guns, shrink plastic, bamboo skewers and a toaster oven. (sounds like my kind of fun!) All participants got to go home with a couple of handmade cards PLUS a pendant.  Their cards and wearable art were just stunning!

Pauline always does a fabulous job in inspiring all of us with her designs!  I have to get my hands on some of that mica gloss (Judikins Mica Gloss Metallic Effects Ink) to play with!

For those ladies that siged up for the afternoon class too, they had an hour break where Barb had lunch brought in!  What a treat!  While they were having lunch, Pauline and I cleaned up and set up for their next class so they could dive right in again!

It was my turn on deck and the afternoon card class featured Cornish Heritage Farms Stamps.

One of the highlights was working with the Elvis silhoutte stamp, it was really difficult for everyone NOT to break into a chorus of Jailhouse Rock!

Everyone had a fabulous time as did we!

Keep your eyes peeled as Barb may do lunch again if you take both the morning and afternoon Saturday classes!  Be sure to check our class schedule as the May class schedule is up!

Thanks for taking the time to drop in today!  Don’t forget National Scrapbooking Day is this Saturday, May 2nd and it’s a sure thing that we’ll be doing something special to celebrate!

Have a fabulous day!

Let Me Be The First To Say ‘Hi’

April 23, 2009

Hi!  This is my first time blogging,  so let’s see what happens.  Let me introduce myself.  I’m Shannon and I’ve been with Classic for just over 4 years.  My creative side has exploded since starting here.  I am one of the creators for most of our store layouts.  I try to incorporate “just the right photo” for every layout.

I recently got back from Mexico, so you will probably be seeing alot of those pics in my layouts. I also have the cutest niece, Kaylen, so you will see her alot too.
