When inking edges of your scrapbook pages or cards it is so much smoother to use the Tim Holtz Ranger Blending Tool.
Apply in circular motions pushing towards the outside edges of your paper.
This Saturday students like Cathy had a great time inking scrapbook layouts with Barb! Go to Facebook to see more pics! http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1747485728
The layouts were done in pink, burgandy and cream with the Simple Stories Generations collection and a heart motif, perfect for this time of year. Happy Valentine’s Day!

So here you have it, my final post from day “3″ at the Craft & Hobby Association Show. Honestly, this show stuff is not for the faint of heart. I was so exhausted by 1 today, with all the mixed media and such in front of me, my head was spinning!

I found bling from a really neat company that has partnered up with Spellbinders and it totally matches the dies! For those of you who really know me~ it is all about the adhesive. Cause what’s the point if you peel off the bling, which is supposed to match up to say, labels “2″ and the adhesive rips?! Well this stuff is just pretty, darn good. I will let you be the judge. The rep says it will arrive within 2-3 weeks. So we won’t have long to wait!

We will be getting new kits from “Quick Quotes” which are lovely. Also interesting letterpress embossing folders. The neat thing with these are they are to be used with at least 100 lb paper which has this beautiful feel of richness with texture.

I had a quick peek at my wonderful friends from the Netherlands booth. They would love to take a trip to Chilliwack and come and teach. Now how cool would that be???

Anyway with that, I sign off as I prepare for the trip home. I am thinking about just having a “bag” viewing of the new catalogues at the store. There is just so much to see it’s overwhelming! So, stay tuned and I will keep you posted on our BLOG, FACEBOOK, and TWITTER. I am liking the whole “twitter” sounding thing. We are twittering with maybe “12″ followers so far, but just search for CHA show and I think you will be amazed at everything there is!

Another great motto from the show: “To live a creative life, we must lose our fear of being wrong”~See you soon,
B

Here are some pages from Sherry’s book. She’s got great pics of her on her birthday, grasses, a harbor with boats, her family, a hummingbird, a bicycle built for two and her and her granddaughter’s feet wearing the same flip flops. She used the We R Memory Keepers pocket page protectors and Simple Stories 100 Days of summer papers. Where oh where is summer? Well, at least we can try to take pictures of summery things, right?
Ten more ideas from Creating Keepsakes magazine on what to photograph this summer!
1. Garden tools~I don’t garden, we live in a townhouse
2. Rainstorms~Took a great pic of stormy clouds just outside of Abbotsford, such intense colors
3. Mountains~I love taking pics of the mountains, as I am originally a prairie girl
4. Grass~We have very green grass this year, the grasses in the ditches are even pretty
5. An old house~I like taking photos of old barns too
6. Umbrellas~Unfortunately these are still around
7. Your old shoes~My title page is a pic of old and new shoes, the funny thing is I just bought three new pairs, and I think I may buy another pair tonight!
8. Your car~Took a pic of my new car just after I washed it
9. Puddles~Do I really need to say anything about these?
10. Things that bother you~ How about #9 and #6 and #2?
We have many lovely collections of paper for scrapbooking your summer pictures and making cards.
Like Barefoot and Bliss from Bo-Bunny.
We R Memory Keepers has a great collection called Travel Light.
For your camping trips we have Imaginisce’s Happy Camper collection and American Crafts Campy Trails.
