Well you know how the old saying goes “Better Late than Never” so I am here to update you on my buying trip to the Craft & Hobby Association Show in Anaheim! I had good intentions of sending daily reports from the show, complete with pics and such, but the wireless internet did not work from the room and going down to the hotel lobby in P.J.s just didn’t work for me!
The show has become considerably smaller in the scrap booking area compared to what it started out like, 12 years ago! It was still a fab show! It was filled with tons of new papers, stickers, embellishments, rubber and acrylic stamps and just more do-dads (for lack of a better word). There was nothing too traditional for color pallets, just lots of color in general. It seems anything goes these days, from whimsical to classic, floral and distressed, just to mention a few styles.
I am happy to say my favorite companies didn’t let me down this year. There were fabulous collections from Bo-Bunny, Die Cuts with a View, Kaisercraft, Doodlebug and Reminisce. New Flower Soft card fronts and more coming as well (see sample below)! Some new companies for us this year will be: Pink Paislee, Seven Gypsies and Webster’s Pages. We are also excited to have some great scrap booking papers back in stock. Some papers are just “oldies but goodies”.
Next week our products for the 2010 Olympic Games will arrive. Make sure to stop by Saturday and check out the collection. I have yet to see it in it’s completed state, but am thrilled about the opportunity to have something so unique! We also have a few other exciting things in store to help celebrate this amazing event of excellence! Keep checking back to our newest “Social Media” blurbs for updates!!!
Our wall of new products is now on display so stop by and check out the latest collections coming to Classic!
Hope to see you soon,
Barb

This was the first class in the Ranger Mini Universtiy series which was on Saturday, January 9th. This class was an all day event learning about alcohol inks. Our classic ladies enjoyed a light lunch and got to decorate these Tim Holtz/Ranger alcohol ink tins. Everyone’s turned out beautifully and they were all different! Don’t They look great?
